About the role

Here at Asolvi we are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our Finance Team. Reporting into Shareholders and Regional Managing Director, your role will be responsible for producing financial and management reports for three locations (Spain, Argentina and Colombia). You will be required to provide information, communicate, and coordinate with different offices along with supporting and building relationships across the business.

This role has a mandatory requirement for the candidate being bi-lingual in Spanish and English.

What you will be doing

• Month end reporting to Shareholders (preparing departmental financial statements along with commentaries) for 3 regions
• Day to day management of processes affecting month end reporting for 3 regions
• Financial administration tasks in Spain and co-ordination of tasks in Argentina and Colombia with on staff clerks/administrators
• Liaising with Directors and colleagues
• Support to Tax Advisors in the preparation of tax filings
• Legislative and Statutory filings (e.g. IVA)
• Supporting outside 3^rd party, where applicable
• Professional advice and input, if applicable
• Mitigating risk management and managing debt recovery
• Supporting Management on information for Group budget forecasts
• Managing payroll
• Reviewing and authorising outgoing payments, including payroll
• Balance Sheet account ownership and reconciliations
• Fixed Asset Register management

Additional desirable strengths

• Strong understanding of revenue deferment and cost allocations for concise and consistent reporting across the Group
• Advanced in MS Excel including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Data Tables

What we think you will need

• You will be qualified / part qualified ICAC or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role, with accounting software package knowledge
• Strong analytical and costing skills is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in both languages
• Detail orientated
• Able to work in a team as well as be self-motivated, working independently when necessary
• Up to date with legislative changes / impacts
