We are looking for our new Internal IT Support Engineer

The context of the role:

You will be responsible for supporting all the Asolvi staff with all IT-related enquiries, both remotely and on-site. We run a very modern client platform with most of our services running in the cloud. All staff computers are members of Azure AD, and login directly to the cloud.

About the role:

It is a pure support role where you will provide 1st and 2nd line support to all Asolvi staff. You will provide regular on-site support at various locations in the UK and you will play an integral part in acquisitions of new companies. You will be the go-to Internal IT support engineer, serving initially one hundred staff - but our staff number is growing rapidly so this will soon double and triple!

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Zendesk-based cloud internal helpdesk and knowledgebase. This includes the responsibility for provisioning new users in Office 365 and our other cloud services. You will configure and distribute laptops to our offices in the UK and the EU and maintain a computer/equipment inventory list for the entire Asolvi group.

Essential qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

Ideally, work experience in a 1st and 2nd line Internal IT support role

Fluent English skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking with a clear accent (please do not apply if you are not 100% fluent) 

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels in an open and friendly manner

You are quick to grasp and apply new technical skills. and has a proven desire to continually learn and improve yourself in the form of work experience, interests/projects during university, or personal projects you have created by yourself, or with other IT enthusiasts. You are a reflective/ analytical thinker who always bring new ideas to the team and who can provide more than one solution to a problem and you plan ahead, predict and evaluate. You see a challenge as an opportunity, as it presents a chance to learn and experience new skills.
